Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Geraldo Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bamidele Abimbola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abimbola has chosen African Warrior as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Geraldo Mason has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bamidele Abimbola!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
A bit of stalling here from Mason.
Mason breaks the clinch.
Abimbola misses with a two punch combination.
Mason appears to be looking for a big counter.
Mason misses the shot to the body.
Abimbola now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Abimbola fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Geraldo Mason has been cut.
Mason could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Abimbola steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mason.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Abimbola! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abimbola lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Abimbola's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mason under the eye.
Mason shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mason throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Abimbola tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Mason manages to move to mount!
Abimbola is working to get back to half guard.
Mason with the ground and pound from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mason gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Mason throws a series of punches but Abimbola moves out of range.
Mason shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Abimbola napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Abimbola tries to bench press Mason off him but Mason keeps the position.
Mason decides to stand back up. Mason steps back and let's Abimbola get back to his feet.
Mason tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Abimbola connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Abimbola looks to throw a body kick
and Mason counters with a one-two to the body.
Mason looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Abimbola pushes Mason off and gets back to his feet.
Mason swinging wildly here.
Abimbola clobbers Mason with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Geraldo Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mason will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Abimbola is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Abimbola lands with a nice combination. Mason backs away looking to recover.
Abimbola swinging wildly here.
Abimbola tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mason throws a sloppy body shot
and Abimbola connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mason is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bamidele Abimbola will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Geraldo Mason's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A punch combination from Mason misses.
Abimbola wants to counter with a clinch but Mason pushes him away.
Mason shoots in for a takedown but Abimbola shows good takedown defense.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Abimbola! But no joy.
Abimbola slips a jab and a cross from Mason.
Mason fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Abimbola cracks Mason's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Mason slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Abimbola can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bamidele Abimbola!
