Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brian throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Savage's head.
Brian slips a jab and a cross from Savage.
Brian throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Savage stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fight stays on the outside here - Savage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Savage shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brian but Brian pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Savage scores with a takedown into Brian's guard.
Savage wants to control from the top but Brian keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brian has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Savage wants to pass the guard but Brian is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Savage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Savage postures up in Brian's guard and throws a big left but Brian blocks it.
Savage working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Savage throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Savage drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Savage jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Brian tries a head kick but it misses.
Brian looks gassed!
Brian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Savage scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Savage sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Brian defending well though.
Savage is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Brian is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
