Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between The Goat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goat comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ is here. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, The Goat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Gracie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Goat, pushing him back against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Gracie as Goat tries to tie him up.
Goat fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Goat can't find room to land a body shot as Gracie controls the action.
Goat is looking to control Gracie's arms but Gracie gets an underhook and turns him. Now Goat has his back to the cage.
Gracie blocking some punches.
Goat goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Goat misses with a short punch on the inside.
Goat lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Gracie lands a left hand.

Gracie is trying to trip Goat. He has hold of a leg but Goat is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gracie persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie slips nicely into half guard.
Gracie lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gracie connects with a nice short shot to Goat's temple.

Gracie wants to work for an arm triangle but Goat is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Goat is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gracie scores with a couple of nice shots.
Goat has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gracie in particular looking to stall.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Nice strikes from Gracie there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Goat trying to control from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Gracie seems content to control.
Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Goat with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Goat on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Goat pushes Gracie off, looking to escape but Gracie dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Goat is forced to tap! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Anderson Gracie!
After the fight, Anderson Gracie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
