Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masahira gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Masahira goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fonseca prevents it.
Masahira has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fonseca after a bit of a struggle.

Felix Fonseca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Satoshi Masahira.
Masahira turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Masahira manages to end up in side control.

Masahira connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Fonseca some visible discomfort.
Masahira looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Fonseca is avoiding damage well.
Masahira is trying to ground and pound but Fonseca uses the momentary lack of control by Masahira to regain half guard.
Masahira thows a huge punch but Fonseca dodges it nicely.
Fonseca is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Masahira scores with a couple of nice shots.
Masahira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Masahira is keen to just control but Fonseca is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Masahira is looking for a kimura but Fonseca is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Masahira to get the leverage.

Masahira seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Fonseca is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
