The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuhkup scores with a nice body kick.
Fuhkup misses with a hook. Timmy ducked under it nicely.
Timmy looks to land a body kick but Fuhkup moved away.
Fuhkup could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fuhkup on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fuhkup tries to get out of the position.

Timmy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Timmy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Timmy drops back looking for a leg! Fuhkup is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fuhkup manages to kick Timmy off! Timmy jumps back into Fuhkup's guard.
Timmy has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at ReEvolution MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Timmy stands and throws Fuhkup's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Timmy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fuhkup will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Timmy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fuhkup knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Fuhkup might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Timmy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Fuhkup knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Timmy on the ground.

Timmy has control of Fuhkup's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fuhkup regains control of the situation pretty easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Timmy looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Timmy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fuhkup can pounce on him.
Timmy shoots for a double leg takedown but Fuhkup sprawls well. He's pushed Timmy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Timmy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Timmy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fuhkup loads up on a big right hand but Timmy slips the punch.
Timmy Timmy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Timmy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Timmy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Timmy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Timmy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
