Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brynjard Tristan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brynjard Tristan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Walker!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tristan swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Walker is now in Tristan's guard. A big mistake from Tristan there, giving up the dominant position!

Walker moves in looking to clinch but Tristan pushes him off.
Tristan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tristan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walker pinned against the cage. Walker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tristan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Tristan persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing.

Brynjard Tristan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walker is pressed up against the cage. Tristan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Walker down to the mat. Walker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Tristan seems to be working for a kimura but Walker defends the submission attempt.
Tristan prevents Walker from standing back up.
Tristan tries to pass to full mount but Walker defends it.

Walker is staying active underneath Tristan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Walker won't allow Tristan to pass to mount.
Walker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tristan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Horrible takedown by Tristan or perhaps it was just good defense by Walker which made him look bad.
Tristan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Walker circles away.
Tristan keeps the fight on the outside.
Walker tries to clinch up but Tristan circles away and keeps his distance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tristan has a takedown stuffed.

Walker closes the distance and clinches.

Tristan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Tristan tries to advance to mount but can't.
Tristan throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Walker works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Walker is holding on to half guard well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jordan Walker will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Tristan throws some wild stikes that Walker manages to avoid easily.
Brynjard Tristan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tristan wants to control the pace but Walker is squirming around nicely.
Walker is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Tristan looking for a guillotine from mount but Walker is having none of it.

Tristan has hold of Walker's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Walker manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tristan throwing strikes here but Walker is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Tristan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Walker can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Tristan tries to control but Walker wriggling away.
Walker is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Tristan moves to take his opponent's back.

Tristan is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Brynjard Tristan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tristan somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

Tristan is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Walker defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Tristan is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Walker is defending well though. Tristan let's go of the attempt for now.

I think Walker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
