The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong scores with a jab to the body.
Munoz shoots in and drives through. Armstrong sprawls well.
Munoz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Munoz there as he acknowledges the shot.
Munoz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Armstrong avoids it really well and circles away.
Armstrong lands with a good body shot.
Munoz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Armstrong to score with a decent uppercut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Munoz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Armstrong was covering up waiting for the punch and Munoz finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Armstrong pushes Munoz off and gets back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Armstrong counters with a nice uppercut.
Oh Munoz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Munoz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Munoz seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Munoz seems to have got his legs back now.

Armstrong cracks Munoz with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Munoz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Armstrong finish him?
A punch combination from Armstrong misses.
As Armstrong looks to move away, Munoz throws a big counter combo but Armstrong just gets out of the way.
Armstrong drops Munoz with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Munoz! Armstrong dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
