Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ninja Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buffalo Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill has chosen Goodbye horses as his entrance music. Buffalo Bill has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ninja Assassin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buffalo Bill!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assassin closes the distance and clinches up with Bill, looking for a takedown. Assassin pushes Bill against the cage but Bill circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Assassin shoots in but no luck this time.
Assassin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Assassin shoots for a double leg takedown but Bill sprawls well. He's pushed Assassin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ninja Assassin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bill stuffs the takedown.
Assassin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bill throws a looping overhand right but Assassin ducks down to avoid it.
Bill cracks Assassin with an uppercut from hell and Assassin crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Bill's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Assassin is rocked!
It looks like Ninja Assassin has been cut.
Bill tries to free his leg and advance position but Assassin is retaining full guard.
Oh Assassin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bill must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bill controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Assassin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Assassin seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bill is trying is best to control the position here.

Assassin seems to be looking for submissions.
Assassin is working for a submission of some sort.
Assassin looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Bill slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Assassin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Assassin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Assassin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Assassin is breathing heavily.
Bill pulls Assassin in close to prevent any damage.
Bill is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bill is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bill is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Assassin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Assassin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bill is keeping the position for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Assassin shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Assassin blocks the strikes from Bill.
Bill tries to get to full guard but Assassin has control of the leg.
Assassin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bill is trying to get back to full guard.
Assassin is looking to advance position but Bill won't allow it.
Assassin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bill doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Assassin.
Assassin prevents Bill from standing back up.

Assassin seems to be working for a kimura but Bill defends the submission attempt.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Assassin closes the distance and clinches up with Bill, looking for a takedown. Assassin pushes Bill against the cage but Bill circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bill tests Assassin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bill jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bill throws out a loose jab but Assassin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Assassin closes the distance and clinches up with Bill, looking for a takedown. Assassin pushes Bill against the cage but Bill circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bill throws a monster overhand right that drops Assassin! Bill follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buffalo Bill!
