PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jff Lawsn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moore comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Stand Alone - Godsmack kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rodney Moore will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moore decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Moore is looking to take a break and control but Lawsn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lawsn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moore can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lawsn is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moore is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Moore tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lawsn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lawsn creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Moore sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Moore escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lawsn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lawsn drops back looking for a leg! Moore is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moore manages to kick Lawsn off! Lawsn jumps back into Moore's guard.

Moore pushes Lawsn off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Moore changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lawsn tries to avoid it but Moore manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lawsn to the ground. Lawsn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Moore has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
