The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fowler slips a jab from Joukahainen.
Fowler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Joukahainen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fowler closes the distance looking to clinch
and Joukahainen counters with a left to the body.
Joukahainen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Joukahainen dodges the punch combination from Fowler.
Joukahainen misses with a wild body shot.

Fowler gets a clinch.

Joukahainen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fowler lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Joukahainen tries to pull guard but Fowler holds him up against the cage and eventually Joukahainen drops back down to his feet.

Joukahainen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fowler pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fowler clinches up with Joukahainen and pushes him back against the cage.

Joukahainen wants to take the fight to the mat but Fowler manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Joukahainen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fowler gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Fowler misses with a hook to the ribs.
Joukahainen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fowler gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Fowler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fowler doesn't manage to clinch there - Joukahainen circles away.
Joukahainen tries to counter with a takedown but Fowler is quick to defend against it.

Joukahainen loses concentration momentarily and Fowler pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Joukahainen crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Fowler finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
