Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Pacheco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudy Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Luciano Pacheco has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Luciano Pacheco seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ben Hemmingworth and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pacheco's guard.
Pacheco seems keen to control Carter's posture.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pacheco has his foot on Carter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carter works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pacheco is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Pacheco shoots in and drives through. Carter sprawls well.
Carter let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Carter shoots in and bounces Pacheco off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Carter gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Pacheco gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Carter to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Carter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Carter tries to stand but Pacheco is controlling from the bottom.

Pacheco escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Carter pushes down on Pacheco's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Pacheco is trying to maintain the position but Carter is very close to passing his half guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pacheco holds on and takes a little breather.

Rudy Carter dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Carter rushes Pacheco and presses him up against the cage.
Pacheco tries to pull guard but Carter won't allow it.

Carter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Carter wants to control for a moment but Pacheco uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Carter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Carter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pacheco throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Carter throws a wild body kick that Pacheco sees coming a mile off.
Carter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pacheco's guard.
Pacheco pushes Carter off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Rudy Carter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Luciano Pacheco's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Carter pushes Pacheco off and gets back to his feet.
Carter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pacheco at a distance.
Carter lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pacheco backs up against the cage.
Carter's corner calls for a 1-2. Carter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Carter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carter lands a glancing blow to the side of Pacheco's head.
Pacheco is rocked!
Carter closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Pacheco! Carter dives in looking to finish! Pacheco is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
