Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takahiro Kajita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spike Dragon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Spike Dragon!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kajita misses with a takedown attempt - Dragon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dragon tries to close the distance and clinch but Kajita swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kajita gets caught flat footed, as Dragon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Dragon tries to free his leg and advance position but Kajita is retaining full guard.
Kajita looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dragon is one step ahead there.

Kajita had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dragon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kajita Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dragon's back instead.
Dragon just trying to survive but Kajita is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Kajita is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dragon knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dragon for a finish.
Dragon is taking damage to the body and head.

Kajita has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Dragon! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kajita gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
