With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcus Kingston!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston tries to bum rush Bear with a series of wild strikes but Bear uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kingston misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bear darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Donk. Bear catches Kingston right on the button with a cross.
Kingston moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kingston swings widly with a right hand
and Bear counters with a left to the body.
Kingston throws a series of punches but Bear moves out of range.
Bear is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Kingston swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Bear to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kingston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Bear cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
No joy there for Kingston, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

As Kingston tries to get set, Bear tries to push him back and clinch up but Kingston manages to avoid the attempt.
Kingston takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Kingston looks to land a combination but Bear avoids it well.

Kingston throws a series of punches but Bear avoids them all with ease.

and Bear counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bear.

Bear breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kingston feints a jab promting Bear to slip. Kingston then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bear slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kingston comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

A head punch on the inside from Bear fails to land.

Kingston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kingston fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bear on the side of the head.
Bear feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kingstons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Marcus Kingston will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kingston takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
