PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tall Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noritada Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Dude.
Masaru blocks a jab.
Dude misses with a hook. Masaru ducked under it nicely.
Dude throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Dude connects with a body shot.
Dude loads up on a big right hand but Masaru slips the punch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Masaru, as that shot connected.
Dude throws out a powerful jab.
A swing and a miss from Dude.
A big left from Dude misses.
Masaru lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Dude just misses with a punch to the body.
Dude misses with a straight left.
Masaru keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dude takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dude throws a lazy right hand but Masaru sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Masaru throws a fast counter high kick but Dude manages to duck under it in time.
Dude connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Masaru misses with a straight left.
Dude really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Masaru lands a head kick!

Dude clinches up with Masaru and pushes him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dude misses with a punch on the inside.
Dude just leaning against Masaru, taking a breather.
Masaru tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Masaru lands an elbow inside that Dude shrugs off.
Dude lands a right hand that snaps the head of Masaru backwards.

Dude breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Masaru tries to clinch up.
Masaru misses with a straight left.
Dude throws a lazy uppercut
and Masaru counters with an inside leg kick.
Masaru lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Dude misses with a body shot.
Masaru ducks under a wild hook from Dude.
Dude throws a low kick but Masaru avoids it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Masaru crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dude - the referee stops the clock and Masaru gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dude. Masaru manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Masaru takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Masaru moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dude tried to score with a low kick but Masaru checks it.
Dude tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Masaru ducks under a wild hook from Dude.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Masaru throws a combination. Dude tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Masaru dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dude. That did some damage!
Masaru closes the distance but Dude moves to the side
enabling Dude to counter with a crisp jab.
A big right from Dude misses.
Dude throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Masaru throws a good cross that connects.
Dude takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Dude cracks the inside of Masaru's front leg.
Masaru slips under a jab.

Dude lands a big head kick that sends Masaru tumbling to the mat! Dude takes a step backwards and waves Masaru back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Masaru is rocked!
Dude cracks Masaru with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
