Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miles Trevino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trevino gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Silva to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Trevino escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Silva is pushing down on Trevino's leg trying to pass to half guard. Trevino is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.

Silva tries a low kick but Trevino avoids it.
Trevino is looking to counter the offense by Silva and move into the clinch.

Silva has Trevino up against the cage in a clinch.
Trevino tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.

Trevino gets caught flat footed, as Silva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Trevino really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Trevino is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silva's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trevino swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Trevino working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Trevino would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Trevino is one step ahead there.
Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Trevino's guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Trevino escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Silva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Trevino dives on top into guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Silva uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Silva rushes Trevino and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Trevino is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Silva has picked Trevino up - he's going for a ride! Silva dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Trevino wants to get back to full guard but Silva has passed into side control.

Trevino sneaks out the side door and pushes Silva away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Trevino gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch.

Silva ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silva no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Trevino tries to stand but Silva is controlling from the bottom.

Trevino stands and steps away. Silva gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
