Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peebo Nugget (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredrick Gorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Gorn misses.
Nugget is looking to counter the offense by Gorn and move into the clinch.
Gorn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nugget moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nugget gets tackled into the cage by Gorn. Gorn maintains the clinch.
Gorn takes a shot to the head.
Nugget has Gorn pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gorn manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Nugget breaks the clinch.

Gorn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gorn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nugget. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nugget stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gorn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nugget is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Gorn throws his legs up looking for a submission but Nugget uses it to pass to side control.
Nugget is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nugget controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gorn can do anything to dispel that myth.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Gorn takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Nugget ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nugget no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Nugget escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gorn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nugget has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gorn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
