The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bill scores with a hook.
Bill on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Halo looks to throw the jab but Bill is out of range.
Bill steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Halo.
Bill throws a counter combo.
Bill misses with a hook.
It looked like Halo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Halo throws an overhand right that lands on Bill's shoulder, as Bill tries to avoid the shot.
Bill throws a right hand that Halo ducks under and follows up with a left that Halo also avoids with ease.
Bill connects with a looping right hand.

Halo rushes Bill and presses him up against the ropes.
Bill has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bill's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Halo misses with a left hand
and Bill counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bill avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Halo misses with a head kick.

Halo swings away with a body shot that misses

and Bill counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Halo to the mat! Bill runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Halo is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
Nice defenses there by Halo.
Xiomar Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bill walks into a straight right hand from Halo.
Halo throws a nice outside leg kick.
Halo misses with a leg kick

and Bill counters with a lead uppercut that lands right on the button! Halo goes down! Will Halo beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's up! No problem. Let's get back to the action!

It looks like Xiomar Halo has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bill throws a lazy uppercut
and Halo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Halo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bill checks it well.
Bill swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Halo counters with a straight right hand.
Halo scores with a three punch combo!
Bill throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Halo to counter with a crisp jab.

Bill clips Halo with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Halo a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Halo is rocked!
Bill uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Halo.
Bill swats away the attempt to clinch by Halo.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bill catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Halo stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Halo walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

and Bill counters with a straight right that drops Halo to the canvas! Will Halo beat the count? He's still wobbly and as the count reaches 7, he's still struggling to make it. 8...9...10. He's out!
