Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Shithouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock Newman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brock Newman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brick Shithouse!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shithouse drops Newman with a beautiful combination! Newman stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Shithouse is looking for the KO!


Newman is rocked!


It looks like Brock Newman has been cut.
Newman looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Shithouse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Newman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oh Newman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shithouse misses with a head kick.
Newman changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Newman seems to have got his legs back now.

Shithouse has closed the distance and engaged Newman in a clinch.
Shithouse lands with a light punch inside.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shithouse is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Shithouse should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Newman comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Shithouse breaks from the clinch.

Newman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Shithouse on his heels. He'll look to pass Shithouse's guard now, I'm sure.
Shithouse has Newman pulled in close to control his posture.
Shithouse is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Shithouse wants to lay and pray for a moment but Newman keeps working.

Shithouse is looking for a kimura here.
Shithouse is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Shithouse not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Shithouse decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Shithouse fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Newman, pushing him back against the cage.

Shithouse breaks from the clinch.
Newman is looking to clinch but Shithouse is avoiding it.
Newman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shithouse swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Newman fails with the takedown.
Shithouse dives in for a single leg takedown but Newman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Shithouse shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Newman as he jumps to the side.
Brock Newman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brick Shithouse.

Shithouse shoots in but Newman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Newman wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Shithouse fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
It looked like Newman was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Newman slaps away a takedown attempt from Shithouse, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Shithouse shoots for a double leg takedown but Newman sprawls well. He's pushed Shithouse's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Shithouse fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Newman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shithouse but Shithouse pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Shithouse darts in and clinches Newman up against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Newman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shithouse avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Shithouse has Newman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Newman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Shithouse tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Newman smiles and moves away.

Shithouse closes the distance and clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Shithouse has Newman up against the cage in a clinch.
Shithouse is trying to pull guard but Newman has him pressed against the cage.

Shithouse is fighting off a takedown attempt but Newman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Shithouse to the mat. Shithouse regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Shithouse pulls Newman in close to his closed guard and prevents Newman from doing any damage or advancing position.

Newman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Shithouse gets control of Newman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shithouse will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

We've been hearing that Newman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Newman stops Shithouse from standing up.

Shithouse shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Newman sprawls well. Newman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shithouse gets slowly back to his feet.

Shithouse dives in and grabs Newman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Newman pushes down on Shithouse's head and hops out.

Brick Shithouse showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Newman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Shithouse darts in looking for a takedown but Newman gets double underhooks and turns Shithouse into the cage.
Newman lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Newman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Shithouse wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Shithouse escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A punch lands to the side of Newman 's head but he takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Newman throws a chopping leg kick but Shithouse manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Shithouse cracks the inside of Newman's front leg.

Shithouse gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Brick Shithouse is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Shithouse jumps into guard, dragging Newman to the mat.

Brick Shithouse comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Shithouse has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
