PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Vasiliy Khrapov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Latitude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khrapov comes into the arena with Rocky road to Dublin (RUS) blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Latitude moves away from the strike by Khrapov.
Latitude looks to clinch
and Khrapov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Khrapov swats away the attempt to clinch by Latitude.
Latitude throws a lazy body kick
and Khrapov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Latitude is looking to clinch.
Latitude tries to clinch up but Khrapov circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice uppercut there from Khrapov.
Decent striking displayed by Khrapov there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khrapov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Latitude is rocked!
Latitude closes the distance looking to clinch
and Khrapov counters with a nice body shot.
Latitude tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Khrapov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Latitude looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Khrapov looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Khrapov cracks Latitude with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Latitude is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Latitude is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Khrapov ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Latitude looks winded!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Latitude throws a combination that misses
and Khrapov counters with a stiff right hand.
Khrapov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Latitude.
Latitude tries to clinch but Khrapov moves out of range.

Latitude is still on wobbly legs! Can Khrapov finish him?
Khrapov closes the distance and catches Latitude with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Latitude is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Latitude is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Latitude is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Khrapov takes it!
