Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Len Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross has chosen Killing in the Name of (Remix) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Len Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Stan Ross!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross wants to clinch.
Ross sizes up Daniels with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Daniels throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Daniels shoots in and drives through. Ross sprawls well.

Ross closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Daniels slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Daniels escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ross gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Daniels has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ross can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Daniels is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ross pulls his head out easily.

Ross uses his free foot to push down on Daniels's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Daniels.
The referee warns Daniels that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Daniels is trying to escape the mount.

Daniels bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Daniels postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ross wants to stand and escape but Daniels is having none of it.

Daniels drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ross dives on top into guard.

Ross has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Daniels is proving hard to escape from.
Daniels doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Daniels looking for a guillotine here but Ross defends easily.

Daniels has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ross is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Daniels.

Ross connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Daniels some visible discomfort.
Daniels manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Ross must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Daniels has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ross doesn't defend quickly enough and Daniels has managed to lock this one up! Can Ross escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Daniels on a fantastic submission victory.
