Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Dickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dickens has chosen I Want it All as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Oliver Dickens enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dickens is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Po lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Oliver Dickens has been cut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Po.
Po tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dickens avoids it.
Dickens on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Po is pressed up against the cage. Dickens has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Po down to the mat. Po avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dickens shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Po as he avoids it easily.
Dickens closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Po to the mat! Po manages to get full guard.

Po has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Dickens gets to his feet and stands over Po, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Po felt that one! Dickens unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Po from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oliver Dickens!
Oliver Dickens was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
