Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zin Berkantov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berkantov has chosen Zaidi as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berkantov cracks Durant with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Durant shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Durant was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Berkantov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Durant asserts his dominance and retains side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Durant goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Berkantov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Durant but great work by Berkantov.
Berkantov gets to mount! Durant was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Durant is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Berkantov looking to control but Durant is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Durant knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Berkantov on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Berkantov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Durant's face.

Durant's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Zin Berkantov dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Berkantov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Durant swivels and escapes.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Berkantov enables Durant to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Berkantov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Berkantov is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Durant presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Durant goes for a takedown attempt but Berkantov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Durant moves into the clinch successfully.
Durant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A countering left hand to the body from Berkantov misses.
Durant shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Durant showed some decent athleticism there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Berkantov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Berkantov is trying to control but can't.
Durant working over Berkantov with some ground and pound. Berkantov looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Durant stands up out of the half guard.
Durant closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Durant lands in his opponent's guard.
Durant throws a big elbow that misses.
Durant tries to free his leg and advance position but Berkantov is retaining full guard.

Berkantov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Berkantov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Berkantov wants to control from the top but Durant keeps moving.
Zin Berkantov has got the better of the ground game so far.
Berkantov stands up over Durant, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Durant wants to control the action here but instead Berkantov manages to pass to full mount!
Berkantov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Durant can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Durant is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

and Durant counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Durant.
Berkantov tries to pull guard but Durant holds him up against the cage and eventually Berkantov drops back down to his feet.
Durant is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Berkantov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Durant has Berkantov pushed against the cage.
Durant pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Durant tries to clinch up.
Durant shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Berkantov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Berkantov stops Durant from passing to mount.
