The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilvolavic thows a body kick. Hussey tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Hussey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hussey is thwarting Kilvolavic's attempts to control the position.
Hussey looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kilvolavic has hold of Hussey's hands but Hussey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Hussey is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Hussey uses his free foot to push down on Kilvolavic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kilvolavic.

Kilvolavic is working to get back to half guard.
Hussey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hussey fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kilvolavic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hussey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
