Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jung Woo Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Tauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max Tauer will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jung Woo Park!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Tauer!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tauer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Park paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tauer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Park.
Park avoids the head kick by Tauer.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jung Woo Park will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Max Tauer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Park.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tauer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Park has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Park and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Well,Park is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes?

I think Tauer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
