Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Prah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feyd Rabban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arturo Prah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Feyd Rabban!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabban shoots in for a double leg but Prah sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rabban shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Prah defends it nicely.
Rabban fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Prah looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Arturo Prah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Feyd Rabban.
Rabban fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rabban gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Prah counters with a two punch combo.

Prah keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A little feinted left hand from Prah on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Rabban misses with a takedown attempt - Prah sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rabban takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Rabban tries for a takedown but Prah sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No joy there for Prah, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Prah lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rabban has Prah up against the cage in a clinch.
Prah scores with a shoulder strike.
Rabban is trying to pull guard but Prah turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Prah obliges.
Rabban fails to pull guard.

Prah manages to break the clinch.
Rabban shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Prah pinned against the cage. Prah gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rabban misses with a takedown
and Rabban takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Prah throws a good cross that connects.
Nice shot lands for Prah.
Rabban shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Prah makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Rabban gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Rabban is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Prah to keep the fight standing.

Rabban jumps guard but Prah turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Prah pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rabban shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Prah as he jumps to the side.
Arturo Prah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prah stuffs the takedown.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rabban avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown attempt by Rabban or perhaps it was just good defense by Prah, which made it look bad.
Rabban tries to close the distance and clinch but Prah swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rabban drives through and clinches with Prah against the cage.

Prah escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Prah scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rabban doesn't seem bothered though.
Prah clobbers Rabban with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rabban tries to clinch but Prah is having none of it.
Rabban has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Prah uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Prah lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Prah connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rabban momentarily.

Rabban clinches up with Prah and pushes him back against the cage.

Rabban pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rabban shoots in but no luck this time.

Rabban has closed the distance and engaged Prah in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Prah manages to break the clinch.
Rabban changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Prah tries to avoid it but Rabban manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Prah to the ground. Prah escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Prah slaps away a takedown attempt from Rabban, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Prah scores with a sloppy right hand. Rabban should have avoided that one.
Rabban misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Prah throwing a counter right hand but Rabban manages to avoid it.
Rabban walks into a stiff left hand from Prah.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rabban.

Rabban tries for a takedown but Prah sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rabban shoots in looking for a takedown. Prah tries to sprawl out of it but Rabban keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prah manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rabban is breathing heavily.
Prah slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arturo Prah dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Prah misses with a two punch combination.
Rabban unleashes a big counter combination but Prah bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Rabban needs to keep his hands up - Prah had a free shot at his head there.

Rabban closes the distance and clinches.
Prah is pressed up against the cage. Rabban has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Prah down to the mat. Prah avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rabban shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Prah as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prah sizes up Rabban with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rabban tries to clinch
and Prah counters with a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A cross from Prah lands.
Prah shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rabban eats them both and turns towards Prah to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Prah cracks Rabban with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Prah displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rabban.

Rabban gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Prah misses with a double jab
and Rabban counters with a good low kick that Prah was not able to check.

Nice takedown defense from Prah. No joy for Rabban on that attempt.
Prah is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rabban can do to turn this around?
Rabban takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rabban looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rabban has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Prah finds it's way round the side to connect with Rabban's head.
Arturo Prah is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Rabban shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Prah as he avoids it easily.
Rabban displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Prah throws out the jab.

Rabban darts in and clinches Prah up against the cage.

Prah pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rabban has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Rabban tries to clinch but Prah moves out of range.
Prah looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rabban.
Prah fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rabban.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Prah displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rabban.
Feyd Rabban has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Arturo Prah is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Arturo Prah is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Prah slips a jab and a cross from Rabban.
Prah jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Prah works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Prah blocks a head kick by Rabban.
Prah tried to counter with a leg kick but Rabban avoided it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rabban has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rabban there as he acknowledges the shot.
Prah scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

And that's the end of the fight!
Arturo Prah showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Prah, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
