The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy cracks Sutherland with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sutherland will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Guy shoots in and drives through. Sutherland sprawls well.
Sutherland takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Sutherland lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Guy sprawling to the canvas. Sutherland follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Guy hang on?

It looks like Medium Guy has been cut.
Sutherland slows the pace down in half guard.
Oh Guy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sutherland is nestled in close to Guy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Guy is trying to maintain the position but Sutherland is very close to passing his half guard.

Guy throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sutherland on the side of the head.

Guy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sutherland checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Sutherland swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sutherland throws a combination. Guy tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Guy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sutherland to score with a decent uppercut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Guy.

and Sutherland counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Sutherland jumps guard and drags Guy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sutherland throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Guy stumbling backwards into the cage! Guy bounces back off the cage towards Sutherland, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Sutherland lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Sutherland celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
