Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Tihiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Beefheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tihiro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jyo. Captain Beefheart will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefheart misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tihiro.
Tihiro will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Beefheart now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Beefheart scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Beefheart throws a quick inside leg kick.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Beefheart misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tihiro.
Beefheart pushes off an throws an elbow but Tihiro leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Tihiro has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beefheart avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuki Tihiro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beefheart is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tihiro is defending well for now.

Tihiro has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Beefheart after a bit of a struggle.

Yuki Tihiro's cut is getting worse.
Beefheart creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Tihiro with a big uppercut! Tihiro tries to clinch up but Beefheart pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Tihiro to the mat! Tihiro covers up and Beefheart unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
