And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johan Davidsson!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidsson throws a wild body kick that Crosby sees coming a mile off.
Crosby appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Davidsson lands a nice hook to Crosby's body. Crosby takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Davidsson stuffs the takedown.

Davidsson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Crosby's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Davidsson decides to stand back up. Davidsson steps back and let's Crosby get back to his feet.

Crosby gets tackled into the cage by Davidsson. Davidsson maintains the clinch.
Davidsson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Crosby up against the cage.
Crosby jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Davidsson walks away with a smile on his face. Crosby gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Davidsson tries a head kick but it misses.
Crosby seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Davidsson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Crosby pushes Davidsson off but Davidsson dives into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Davidsson has control of Crosby's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Crosby regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Davidsson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Crosby defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Well Davidsson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
