Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Fleece Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Max Teller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fleece Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Teller!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson lands with a nice body kick.
Johnson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Teller.

Teller has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.
Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johnson blocking some punches.
Johnson throws a punch but it's blocked by Teller.

Johnson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Teller's elbow.

I was talking to Johnson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Johnson digs a right hand into Teller's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Teller's gas tank.
Johnson connects with a knee to the head.
Teller throws a head punch that misses.
Johnson misses with a body punch.

Johnson tries to throw a body punch but Teller avoids it by throwing Johnson back against the ropes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Johnson is leaning against Teller and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Teller is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Johnson cracks Teller with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Teller goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Teller wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Fleece Johnson!
After the fight, Fleece Johnson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
