Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Coleman Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Connor MacManus!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacManus throws a leg kick that is checked

so Coleman Jr counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Coleman Jr won't allow MacManus to sweep him here.
Coleman Jr stands up over MacManus, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
MacManus keeping moving, preventing Coleman Jr from controlling successfully.
Coleman Jr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coleman Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

MacManus tries to land a sweep but no joy.

MacManus tries to free his leg and advance position but Coleman Jr is retaining full guard.

Coleman Jr is looking for a triangle but MacManus pushes his legs off easily.
Coleman Jr pulls MacManus in close to his closed guard and prevents MacManus from doing any damage or advancing position.

Coleman Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. MacManus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Coleman Jr has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Coleman Jr lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

MacManus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Coleman Jr's guard.

MacManus stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Coleman Jr has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! MacManus manages to get his head free but now Coleman Jr has transitioned to an armbar! MacManus grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Coleman Jr! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
