Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Klemens Czerwinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krystian Cierpka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krystian Cierpka will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Klemens Czerwinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Krystian Cierpka!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cierpka fails in his attempt to clinch.
Czerwinski takes one to the chin there.

Cierpka forces Czerwinski back against the cage and clinches.

Cierpka breaks from the clinch.
Cierpka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Czerwinski was well out of range. Poor timing from Cierpka.
Czerwinski appears to be looking for a big counter.
Cierpka misses with a two punch combination.

Cierpka closes the distance and clinches.
Cierpka with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Cierpka on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Czerwinski tries for a takedown. No joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Czerwinski manages to break the clinch.
Cierpka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cierpka throws a nice looking combination but Czerwinski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cierpka closes the distance but Czerwinski moves to the side
and Czerwinski counters with a one-two to the body.

Cierpka forces Czerwinski back against the cage and clinches.

Cierpka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cierpka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cierpka is working Czerwinski over against the cage.
Cierpka misses with an elbow over the top.
Cierpka unloads a knee to the mid-section. Czerwinski lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Czerwinski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Cierpka clinches.
Czerwinski wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cierpka pressing his opponent against the cage.
Cierpka digs a right hand into Czerwinski's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Czerwinski's gas tank.

Cierpka manages to break the clinch.
Czerwinski on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cierpka. Cierpka obviously looking to wear him down.
Cierpka wants to clinch.
Cierpka tries to clinch there but Czerwinski circles away.
Czerwinski seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Czerwinski has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cierpka.

Czerwinski tries to keep at a distance but Cierpka has taken the fight into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cierpka throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Czerwinski blocks it with crossed arms.
Cierpka throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Czerwinskis head.
Czerwinski is trying to maintain a safe position but Cierpka gets an underhook and turns Czerwinski into the cage.
Czerwinski tries to pull guard but Cierpka holds him up against the cage and eventually Czerwinski drops back down to his feet.

Czerwinski gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cierpka regains guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Czerwinski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cierpka works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Cierpka keeping moving, preventing Czerwinski from controlling successfully.
Cierpka keeping full guard, as Czerwinski tries to pass.
Czerwinski trying to control the position from guard on top but Cierpka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cierpka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Czerwinski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cierpka is adopting a defensive guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Cierpka throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Cierpka working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Czerwinski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Czerwinski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cierpka has control of Czerwinski's left arm, preventing Czerwinski from doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krystian Cierpka dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Cierpka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Czerwinski is looking for a counter combo.
Cierpka tries to clinch but Czerwinski moves out of range.

Cierpka has managed to clinch.
Czerwinski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cierpka pulls his leg out and moves away.

Cierpka closes the distance and pushes Czerwinski back into the cage.
Cierpka throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Cierpka lands an elbow that stopped Czerwinski in his tracks for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Czerwinski fails to pull guard.
Czerwinski is trying to pull guard but Cierpka has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Klemens Czerwinski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cierpka lands a damaging elbow.

Cierpka jumps guard.
Czerwinski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cierpka is keeping the position for now.

Czerwinski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cierpka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Czerwinski has managed to get both his arms back between Cierpka's legs - danger averted.

Cierpka is looking to cinch up a triangle. Czerwinski throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Cierpka's body to avoid the submission. Cierpka has instead reached around Czerwinski's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cierpka arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Krystian Cierpka!
An out of breath Krystian Cierpka thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
