Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iwan Matwijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannibal Barca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matwijenko comes to the cage accompanied by RANDORI!. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barca defending well as Matwijenko loads up on a big left hand.
Matwijenko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Barca walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Matwijenko checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Barca takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Matwijenko scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Hannibal Barca has been cut.
Barca throws a shot from downtown. Matwijenko moves away and avoids it.
Matwijenko drops his hands momentarily and Barca takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Barca misses with an uppercut. Matwijenko saw that one coming.
Barca throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Matwijenko thumps Barca with a low kick.
Matwijenko lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Matwijenko cracks Barca with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Barca looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Matwijenko finish him?

Barca is rocked!

Despite the aggression on Barca's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Barca is still on wobbly legs! Can Matwijenko finish him?
Matwijenko throws a shot from downtown. Barca moves away and avoids it.
Barca seems to have recovered his senses.
Barca throws a right hand that Matwijenko ducks under and follows up with a left that Matwijenko also avoids with ease.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Matwijenko moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Barca! Matwijenko continues to tee off on Barca, landing with a left and a right! Matwijenko connects with a right hand that leaves Barca sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Matwijenko!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Iwan Matwijenko!
Iwan Matwijenko spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
