Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Goldberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Inurgurl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Goldberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robert Inurgurl!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goldberg closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Inurgurl is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
It looks like Goldberg is going to stand back up.
Goldberg looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Inurgurl can do anything to dispel that myth.
Inurgurl tries to get to full guard but Goldberg has control of the leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Goldberg lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Inurgurl down.

Inurgurl felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
