Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luciano Pacheco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kady looks to land a combination but Pacheco avoids it well.
Kady changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pacheco looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Pacheco tries to bench press Kady off him but Kady keeps the position.
Pacheco struggling a bit here.
Kady stands up.
Kady moves into range and clinches up with Pacheco.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kady manages to pull guard.

Kady is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Kady working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pacheco doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pacheco manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pacheco distracts Kady with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Pacheco postures up in Kady's guard and throws a big left but Kady blocks it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pacheco accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kady is trying to control the position but Pacheco postures up.
Pacheco avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Pacheco postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pacheco with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kady wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Pacheco is now in half guard.
Pacheco thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kady's head.

Pacheco thows a huge punch but Kady dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pacheco connects with a nice short shot to Kady's temple.
Kady wants to get back to his feet.

Kady closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pacheco to the mat! Pacheco manages to get full guard.
Kady stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pacheco swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kady looks winded!
Pacheco seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Pacheco wants to sweep here but Kady controlling him for the moment.
Pacheco wants to stand up but Kady is controlling him.
Pacheco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pacheco looking for a guillotine here but Kady defends easily.

Pacheco not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pacheco is pulling down on Kady's head. It's preventing any offense from Kady, at least for the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That kick from Kady tenderised Pacheco's leg. Pacheco is trying to keep his angry face on.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pacheco tries a head kick but it misses.
Kady scores with a takedown into Pacheco's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Parham Kady dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Pacheco fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kady avoids it really well and circles away.
Kady tries to counter by closing the distance.
Pacheco looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kady is fending him off so far but Pacheco persists. Nope, Kady circles away and we're back to standing.
Pacheco gets caught napping as Kady dives in and scores a takedown. Pacheco manages to retain guard.
Kady controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Pacheco is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kady has his hands clasped together but Pacheco extends and breaks Kady's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Pacheco.
