And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freeman gets tackled into the cage by Max. Max maintains the clinch.
Max stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Freeman has had enough of the clinch but Max keeps him there for the moment.
Max displaying some good clinch control by pressing Freeman up against the cage.
Freeman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Max's efforts to push away.
Freeman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Freeman stalling in the clinch but Max improves position.
Max has Freeman pushed against the cage.
Max is trying to break the clinch but Freeman has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Max digs a right hand into Freeman's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Freeman's gas tank.
Freeman wants a takedown.
Max lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Max working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Freeman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Max pulls his leg out and moves away.
Max has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Freeman is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Mad Max seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
