Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brandon Baumgartner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Sung!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baumgartner goes for a double leg but Sung avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sung continues to drive forward.
Sung is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Baumgartner drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Baumgartner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Baumgartner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Baumgartner is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sung is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sung has escaped and now he's on top!

Sung is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baumgartner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sung has Baumgartner pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sung pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Baumgartner tumbling to the mat - Sung dives into Baumgartner's guard.

Baumgartner is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sung might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Baumgartner haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
