Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Da Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Da Silva moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Da Silva throws a leg kick
and Ozorio counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ozorio is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Da Silva sees it coming and defends easily.
Ozorio is working for a submission of some sort.
Ozorio postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Da Silva to stand up.
Da Silva throws a right and a left that Ozorio avoids nicely.
A punch combination from Da Silva misses.
Ozorio seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ozorio checks a low kick from Da Silva.
Da Silva throws a series of strikes that have Ozorio backpedaling.
Da Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ozorio counters with a nice double leg into side control. Da Silva won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ozorio swings around for an armbar but Da Silva sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ozorio's guard.
Ozorio is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Da Silva defends well.
Da Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ozorio has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Da Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Ozorio's legs - danger averted.

Da Silva throws a strike but Ozorio rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ozorio stands and throws Da Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Ozorio tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Ozorio wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Da Silva, who protects the arm well.
Da Silva defending against the ground and pound.
Ozorio has an Americana. Da Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ozorio is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ozorio hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
