The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dijkstra takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dijkstra has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Harris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And Dijkstra tries to counter it with a takedown but Harris pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Dijkstra has Harris up against the cage in a clinch.
Dijkstra has Harris pressed against the cage, preventing Harris from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Dijkstra pulls guard successfully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harris has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Harris has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dijkstra is proving hard to escape from.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dijkstra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harris doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Dijkstra is tightening it up a little... Harris has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Harris reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Harris taps out! Nice BJJ there by Dijkstra!
