Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Romario Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Womack Iii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Womack Iii works the jab nicely.

Womack Iii throws a shot from downtown. Gomez moves away and avoids it.

Gomez is breathing heavily.
Womack Iii swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Womack Iii feints and then cracks Gomez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gomez down.

Womack Iii will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gomez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Womack Iii lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Womack Iii, as that shot connected.
Womack Iii tries a low kick but Gomez avoids it.
Gomez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Gomez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Womack Iii throws a right hand that Gomez ducks under and follows up with a left that Gomez also avoids with ease.
Gomez seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Gomez takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Womack Iii rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gomez counters with a one-two to the body.

As Womack Iii looks to move away, Gomez throws a big counter combo but Womack Iii just gets out of the way.

Womack Iii jabs Gomez right on the nose. Gomez blinks but takes it well.

Gomez wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Womack Iii feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gomez's calf.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Womack Iii dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Womack Iii lands with an uppercut that bounces Gomez off the cage and back into range.
Oh Gomez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Gomez might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Womack Iii walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gomez drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Womack Iii swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gomez's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ken Womack Iii!
Ken Womack Iii decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
