PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yaz Rosha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artie Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rosha kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Savages by Theory of a Deadman. Lange comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ACDC-You Shook Me(All Night Long) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lange is looking to chop away at Rosha's legs.

Rosha shoots in and bounces Lange off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lange is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rosha tries to get to full guard but Lange has control of the leg.

Rosha has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lange can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've been hearing good reports from Rosha's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round but I would say that Yaz Rosha will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Lange gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rosha to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Rosha drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lange looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lange looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lange!

Lange uses his free foot to push down on Rosha's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rosha.

Lange has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rosha to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lange is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rosha pulls down on the head and he's put Lange to sleep! This one is all over!

Yaz Rosha really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Machiavelli Boutique logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
