We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee scores with a push kick.
Johnson shoots in but no luck this time.

Lee takes the fight into the clinch.

Lee jumps into guard, dragging Johnson to the mat.
Lee wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson stands and steps away. Lee gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Johnson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Johnson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Johnson stands up and beckons Lee to join him on the feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lee.
Lee lands a really nice looking cross but Johnson seems unphased.

Lee moves into the clinch successfully.
Lee crunches a lovely knee into Johnson's ribcage.
Johnson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lee.

The fighters circling - Johnson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Lee moves into range and clinches up with Johnson.
Lee fails to pull guard.

Corey Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dirk Lee.
Johnson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lee up against the cage.
Lee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Johnson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Oh but Johnson is tightening it up a little... Lee has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lee reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lee taps out! nice BJJ there by Johnson!
