Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Chandler can't find room to land a body shot as Alves controls the action.

Alves has Chandler pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Alves pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Chandler tumbling to the mat - Alves dives into Chandler's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alves accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Chandler working his ground and pound in the gym.

Alves lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Alves tries to roll over but Chandler keeps him under control.
Chandler thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Chandler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The fighters are battling for position here. Alves manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Alves is striking but Chandler is not phased and passes to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chandler is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Chandler takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

A close round but Marcus Chandler will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The fight stays on the outside here - Alves looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chandler misses with a hook to the body
and Alves counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Chandler! This one is all over!

Renzo Alves really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that My$tic Clothing ~ (`10%Laundry`) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
