Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niko Alzate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feargus Urquhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urquhart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Urquhart throws a head kick but Alzate moves out of range.
Alzate with a hook.
A cross from Alzate lands.
Alzate throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Urquhart takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Urquhart lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Urquhart is looking to clinch but Alzate is avoiding it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Alzate, right into the meat.
Alzate throws out a leg kick but Urquhart moves out of range and Alzate only half commits.
Urquhart is looking to clinch.
A slow jab from Urquhart misses its intended target.
Urquhart throws a leg kick but Alzate checks it.
Alzate jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Alzate throws a chopping leg kick but Urquhart manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A solid body kick from Alzate.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alzate lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Urquhart is looking to clinch but Alzate is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alzate is looking to slow Urquhart down with leg kicks.
Urquhart tries to close the distance and clinch but Alzate swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Alzate fails to land with a series of punches.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Alzate.
Alzate has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Alzate lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Alzate catches Urquhart napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Urquhart to the canvas!
Urquhart is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alzate gets to his feet and stands over Urquhart, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Urquhart felt that one! Alzate unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Urquhart from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Niko Alzate!
