Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalacinski on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kalacinski on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Bert Owen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Owen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kalacinski was well out of range. Poor timing from Owen.
Kalacinski shoots in but no luck this time.
Owen gets caught flat footed, as Kalacinski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Owen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kalacinski content to stall in guard here.
Owen wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kalacinski stands up and waves to Owen to follow him.
Kalacinski moves in looking to clinch but Owen pushes him off.
Owen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Owen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Owen lands an overhand right.
Kalacinski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Owen wants to control the position but Kalacinski says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Owen is trying to get back to full guard.

Kalacinski escapes and gets back to his feet.
Kalacinski throws the left hand but Owen avoids the punch easily.
Owen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Kalacinski shoots in and gets a takedown into Owen's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Owen wants to stand but Kalacinski is controlling the position.

Owen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kalacinski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Owen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kalacinski tries to free his leg and advance position but Owen is retaining full guard.

Owen is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kalacinski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Owen tries to clinch there but Kalacinski circles away.
A jab from Owen finds it's way through Kalacinski's defenses.
Kalacinski needs to keep his hands up - Owen had a free shot at his head there.
Owen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kalacinski, pushing him back against the cage.

Kalacinski turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kalacinski manages to end up in side control.
Owen trying to control but Kalacinski flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Kalacinski has managed to slip his arm under Owen's chin. This could be all over... yep, Owen is tapping out! Submission win for Kalacinski.
