Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Professor F (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Knotts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian Knotts will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Professor F!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Knotts!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
F throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
F throws a lazy right hand but Knotts sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Knotts throws a front kick aimed at F's knee but F avoids it well.
Knotts lands with an uppercut that bounces F off the cage and back into rage.

Knotts fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brian Knotts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knotts will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

F feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Knotts had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. F is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Knotts Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take F's back instead.
I really don't envy F right now.
F has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Knotts.

Knotts is rocked!
F is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knotts can do to turn this around?

Knotts's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

F loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Knotts scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from F land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. F stands and salutes the crowd.
