The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro misses with a wild combination.
Ribeiro swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Despite the aggression on Wood's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Ribeiro gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ribeiro is working for takedown but Wood is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ribeiro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ribeiro scores with a jab to the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ribeiro, as that shot connected.
Ribeiro takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wood takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wood jabs Ribeiro to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wood misses with a wild body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ribeiro takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wood misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A counter left hand to the body from Ribeiro misses its target.
A decent looking cross lands there for Wood.

Pablito Wood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wood throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Ribeiro crashing down! Ribeiro tries to stagger back to his feet but Wood just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Ribeiro asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pablito Wood!
