The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kermodian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by TupperIII.

TupperIII fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kermodian sprawls well initially but TupperIII persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kermodian wants to improve his position but TupperIII is controlling well.

TupperIII seems to be working for a kimura but Kermodian defends the submission attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kermodian manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. TupperIII manages to get himself to full guard.

TupperIII escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kermodian gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
TupperIII will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

TupperIII is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kermodian defends well.

TupperIII is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kermodian throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to TupperIII's body to avoid the submission. TupperIII has instead reached around Kermodian's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! TupperIII arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
