Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Satoru Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kerron Kangal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kerron Kangal!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kangal's coach down at School of Hard Knocks (Elite Training for $225) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kangal's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Takada feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kangal sprawling to the canvas! Kangal rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Takada finish him?!

Kangal takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Takada lands an elbow that stopped Kangal in his tracks for a moment.

Kangal jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Takada walks away with a smile on his face. Kangal gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Takada cracks Kangal with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Takada has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kangal to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takada lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
