Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maertens tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jay Jay defends well and Maertens ends up having to push Jay Jay into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Maertens shoots for a double leg takedown but Jay Jay sprawls well. He's pushed Maertens's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jay Jay rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maertens moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maertens changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jay Jay darts in and clinches Maertens up against the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jayden Jay Jay.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jay Jay, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
