Gilas comes to the cage accompanied by Remember The Name - Fort Minor. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clinchwork doesn't manage to clinch there - Gilas circles away.
Clinchwork tries to clinch up but Gilas circles away and keeps his distance.

Clinchwork has managed to clinch.

Clinchwork is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gilas can't fight it off and eventually Clinchwork manages to take the fight to the floor. Gilas looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Clinchwork slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Clinchwork stands up and beckons Gilas to his feet.
Gilas blocks a head kick by Clinchwork .
Gilas attempts a counter takedown but Clinchwork avoids it well and moves away.
Gilas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clinchwork circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clinchwork throws a wild body kick that Gilas sees coming a mile off.

Clinchwork takes the fight into the clinch.

Gilas has clasped his hands together around Clinchwork 's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Clinchwork tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Gilas with shots to the head and body - Clinchwork looks very uncomfortable down there.
Gilas lands a nice shot to the head.
You get the feeling that Clinchwork really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Gilas lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Gilas working for a guillotine from mount but Clinchwork is in no mood to give up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clinchwork tries to lock up and control but Gilas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Gilas lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The referee warns Clinchwork that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Clinchwork is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gilas cracks Clinchwork with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
